Twelve Months, Seven Continents

January – April

January — Antarctica. The Peninsula and South Georgia at the height of the expedition season, twenty hours of light a day.

February — South America. Carnival in Rio, 5–10 February, from a box at the Sambadrome.

March — Asia. The Dubai World Cup at Meydan, the richest race day in the world, with a desert camp either side.

April — North America. The Masters at Augusta, then Charleston or Napa on the way home.

May – August

May — Europe. The Monaco Grand Prix from a terrace above the circuit, Cannes on the Croisette the week before.

June — Europe. Royal Ascot, Art Basel in Switzerland, the opening week of Wimbledon.

July — Asia. Naadam on the Mongolian steppe, riders and archers outside Ulaanbaatar.

August — Africa. The Great Migration crossing the Mara, with camp held for the season.

September – December

September — Europe. The Monaco Yacht Show at Port Hercule, Venice for the Film Festival.

October — North America. Harvest in Napa, then the canyon country of Utah and Arizona.

November — Oceania. The Melbourne Cup on the first Tuesday, Sydney Harbour afterwards.

December — North America. Art Basel Miami in the first week, then New Year's Eve in Gustavia, St Barths.

Private Occasions

Birthdays, anniversaries and weddings with no public date attached. Island and château buyouts, chefs flown in, and guests collected from six cities on the same afternoon.

How We Build Your Year

One conversation sets the following twelve months: which occasions matter, who is travelling, and where you would rather be than in the crowd. Aircraft, berths, houses and tables are held long before they are advertised. After that we keep it moving — one point of contact, one calendar, and nothing left to the week before.

December — St Barths

Gustavia fills by mid-month. A house above Colombier, a tender on call, and a table on the 31st reserved in February.
