Fiji
May to October is the dry season. Six Senses Fiji on Malolo is the partner property; beyond it this is a private-island market.
Fiji's dry season runs May to October: cooler, less humid, and the clearest water of the year for diving. November to April is the wet season and also the cyclone season, with the risk concentrated between December and March. Temperatures barely move all year.
Nadi takes large-cabin aircraft and is the arrival for almost everyone. From there it is a twenty to forty minute seaplane or helicopter transfer to the Mamanuca and Yasawa groups, or a short domestic flight north to Taveuni and Vanua Levu.
Six Senses Fiji, on Malolo Island in the Mamanucas, is our preferred hotel partner here and the property we use most. Beyond it Fiji is a private-island market: the best addresses are independently owned, and for a family group a whole-island booking often makes more sense than a resort. We book those on their merits and say plainly that they are not partner properties.
Ask your advisor about manta season in the Yasawas between May and October, soft-coral diving in the Somosomo Strait, and whether a private island or a resort actually suits your group.
