The city at full pitch. September to December for the season and the holidays; April to June for the parks.
New York is at its best from September to December, when the season opens and the city lights up for the holidays, and from April to June, when the parks come back. In July and August, much of the city moves east to the Hamptons.
Each neighbourhood is its own stay. The Upper East Side for the museums along Fifth Avenue. Midtown for Broadway and Carnegie Hall. The West Village and Tribeca for restaurants and quiet streets. Hudson Yards and the High Line on the west side.
Private aircraft land at Teterboro, about 30 minutes from Midtown, or at Westchester County for the northern suburbs. A helicopter reaches East Hampton in about 40 minutes.
Aman New York sits in the Crown Building on Fifth Avenue. Four Seasons has hotels in Midtown and Downtown. Mandarin Oriental looks over Central Park from Columbus Circle. The St. Regis, Park Hyatt and The Ritz-Carlton Central Park round out the list, with The Ritz-Carlton NoMad downtown.
Ask your advisor about a private after-hours museum visit, premiere seats on Broadway, and a helicopter to the Hamptons.
